Gordon has been coaching since 2012. He coached the Ryerson varsity team 2013-2014, Canadian Fencing Academy in 2017, and the University of Toronto varsity team (OUA champions for both Men’s and Women’s 2017-2018). In 2012-2013 he coached Mark Peros raising his ranking to top 64 in the world, Mark made the national team and represented Canada at the 2013 world championships and the 2015 Pan American Games. Gordon draws on 20 years of experience, and video analysis to create group drills and one on one lessons that build the diversity and reliability of his students’s repertoires. Gordon’s competitive and piste side coaching experience form a foundation for counselling the psychological aspects of the sport.
