Our club operates under the direction of coach Nik Lavorato.

Nik has been fencing for more than 10 years and spent the last year teaching kids and adults this very exciting sport. An accomplished fencer himself, he is proud to have been the Ontario provincial champion but takes great pride teaching his students and watching them succeed. Nik’s goal is to create a positive training environment for all weapons, helping his students achieve top results.

Nik enjoys working with all fencers.  He teaches through positive reinforcement and strives to create a fun and pleasant learning environment. He also believes that good instruction is one of the most important qualities.  His coaching style emphasizes the learning of correct and diversified technique as the foundation for building a sound set of skills to achieve the full potential of each fencer.
