Beginners are expected to wear track-pants no shorts, a t-shirt, and non-marking shoes. Jackets, glove, mask, and sword is provided.

Novice Classes
A continuation of the beginner program with greater emphasis on technique, and more advanced fencing tactics to prepare students for the advanced program. Students learn to become more diverse and independent, with expected training exercises in and out of the club.

Participants are to have their own equipment before entering the novice program. Please contact us to find out about our discounted rates on fencing equipment.

Open Practice

Bladeworks open practice is for fencers that have completed the beginner program, or experienced fencers who want to practice with general members. Practices consist of warm-ups, footwork, group lessons, and open fencing (dry and electric). Open practice members should provide their own equipment but club equipment can be provided if needed. The cost for this is $45/month with the option to fence other days also.

Private lessons with coaches available, please inquire with coaches at the club.
